CRISPY BAKED CHICKEN WINGS

A HEALTHIER OPTION

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 lbs CHICKEN WINGS, CUT AT THE JOINT

  • 2 tbsp MELTED BUTTER OR AVOCADO OIL

  • 2 Tbsp BAKING POWDER

  • 3/4 tsp SALT

  • 1 tsp. PAPRIKA

  • 1 tsp. GARLIC POWDER

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and adjust the rack to the middle-upper level.

  2. Lightly coat the dried wings with melted butter or avocado oil.

  3. Combine the baking powder, salt, paprika and garlic powder in a small bowl and mix well.

  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and coat them evenly. Toss the wings in a bag or in a large bowl to help evenly coat the wings.

  5. Bake wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 40-60 minutes—depending on the size—and turn every 20 minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes.

  7. Serve tossed in your favorite sauce or with dipping sauce on the side.
